Franzen Landbouw owns a variety of storage facilities for bulk agricultural goods as well as boxed produce. This capacity totals over 80,000 tonnes which is split into 20,000 tonnes for cereals and GMP-certified products and 15,000 tonnes for potatoes and onions in both boxes and bulk. For long-term carrot storage of there is a cold store available with a capacity of 7,000 boxes. Finally, capacity for over 20,000 tonnes of organic fertilisers, compost and mushroom compost is available. Aside from our own products we also store crops for other farmers. Transport
Every crop storage sector utilises its own machinery for intake and emptying. A fleet of modern lorries is used for transporting agricultural commodities such as crops, organic fertilisers and other goods. Walking floor trailers, self-emptying trailers and container carriers are used and are all fitted with a weighing system. Haulage is carried out all across the Netherlands by our own highly-skilled drivers ensuring delivery is punctual.
